• 2023 Sustainability Champion Granite Construction will share how their sustainable innovation, implementation, and leadership won them the Sustainability Champion Award.
• IRTBA's Planning & Design Board traveled to Sweden last year and learned the best practices in design and implementation of Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure. 
• Road Builders have been invited to Springfield to address the Illinois House Energy and Environment Committee. Representatives from both the Sustainability Council Board of Directors and the Government Affairs Committee will provide helpful information on how the road building industry is engaged in and actively working towards sustainable practices, as well as advising the Committee on impractical and unsound legislation. Hear what the panel will cover before they testify for the committee.
• The Illinois Tollway will provide an overview of its Sustainability and Environmental Accomplishments, including new maintenance facilities, LED roadway lighting, Landscape Master Plan, bioswales, mitigation and pavement recycling, as well as future environmental initiatives.
