Timothy J. Gotta, J.D. is USI’s Midwest, Central and Mountain West Regional Cyber Liability Insurance Director for USI Insurance Services’ Executive & Professional Risk Solutions Practice (EPS).

Tim’s focus is working with clients and prospects on creating comprehensive and customized coverage for their data security privacy and errors and omissions exposures.

Tim started his commercial insurance brokerage career at Risk Strategies Company in 2014 and previously worked at Marsh, Gallagher and NFP. Tim has extensive experience in working with financial services firms including private equity, insurance companies as well as working with nonprofits and cultural institutions.

Born in Chicago, raised in Montana, Tim is an avid outdoor enthusiast, stays active in his spare time.
Tim obtained his undergraduate degree in political science at University of Montana and his law degree at Barry University.

Steve is a Partner, Senior Vice President for USI in the Chicago office. Steve is responsible for building and serving a robust clientele by consistently delivering financially impactful Risk & Insurance Solutions that exceed client expectations.

Steve’s technical areas of expertise include complex property and casualty solutions, Financial Risk Management and Claims Analytics. He specializes in Construction related risks, Alternative Risk Transfer solutions, and M & A Risk Advisory and Transaction Liability products.

Prior to joining USI, Steve began his carrier 15 years ago with a leading national carrier holding positions in both litigated claims and underwriting for large national accounts. He then held a client executive producer role with another leading national brokerage.

Steve serves as an officer and board member of the Chicago Risk Insurance Management Society (RIMS), as well as an executive advisor of the Chicago Rising Risk Professionals. Steve also devotes his time mentoring risk management majors through Illinois State University.

He also sits on the board of the Chicago Leukemia Lymphoma Society. Steve holds a BA from Michigan State University.

Matt Fazio is a Vice President of USI that specializes in the company’s Construction practices. Matt’s primary function is to build relationships with and advise on client businesses to help lower operating expenses and hedge for business volatility.

Matt’s technical areas of expertise include complex property and casualty solutions, Financial Risk Management and Claims Analytics. He specializes in Alternative Risk Transfer solutions, and M & A Risk Advisory products.

Prior to joining USI, Matt was a producer at Corkill Insurance Agency based out of the suburbs of Chicago. During his time there, he built a successful practice mainly focusing on construction and manufacturing clients in the middle-market. He has been able to leverage that experience and apply it to his current clients at USI.

Matt earned his B.S. in Finance at the University of Dayton in Dayton, OH. He was a Division I scholarship athlete on the Men’s Golf Team. He currently holds licenses for his Series 7 & 66, as well as Life & Health / Property & Casualty licenses.

Matt currently serves on the alumni board of his high school alma mater, Marmion Academy, and helps lead the fundraising committee for Lazarus House, a homeless shelter in the Kane County area.

Matt was born and raised in the western suburbs of Chicago. He currently lives downtown in the West Loop. Matt’s passions outside of work take him to the golf course, the great outdoors, and the local community for continued outreach.
